Thanks again to Taylor Proctor of Taylor Made Weddings for this third part in her wonderful dessert series. Today’s dessert is is a fun and unique one that we think you will really like.
To continue our series on fun and unique wedding desserts, (see snow cones and macaroons) I am excited to introduce Mochi!
Mochi is a Japanese food that is made from whole rice pounded into a paste and then molded into shapes. It can be found throughout the world and is most often found surrounding ice cream balls, creating the yummy dessert mocha ice cream (go-figure!)
It’s a fun and non-traditional wedding dessert because it can be found in so many fun colors, flavors and is not only great on its own, but in yogurts (think fun yogurt bar,) surrounding ice cream or fruits and stuffed with a bean paste (yummy and a little healthy!)
Mochi is definitely a fun dessert but it takes a unique, funny loving couple to pull it off at a wedding!
I hope you are inspired and happy Friday!
